Welcome all! This will be a place where every author, writer, self-publisher and book lover will be able to find a suiting text that might be interesting, not to mention, helpful. Feel free to read, share and comment.

Given that this is Bookcoverwold’s first blog post, I have decided to use this opportunity to say a big “thank you” the every person engaged in this whole process of launching my portfolio site.  Life is all about having amazing people around you and appreciating the little things. My family is my biggest supporter and I don’t know what I would do without them. My family is my rock, so I would love to thank all of them for being my support, inspiration and happiness, every day. The biggest thank you goes to my two little daughters who make me smile every day and to my one and only, who brought the brightest light into my life and makes every day a beautiful journey together. Thank you so much!

I used to say how my work isn’t very important or significant, unlike what doctors do, where they save lives on a daily basis or help others in need. I am just a book cover designer after all. However, at one point an author said to me that she had a really bad period in her life and publishing her book was the ray of light in a very cloudy day. After getting her cover, she was as happy as a person can be and she told me that I made her year with this cover. After that, I had a lot of such experiences with my clients and, even though I am not saving lives, I might save someone’s day.

This is why I’m dedicating this blog post to everybody who makes that little difference every day. Someone I really need to say a huge “thank you” to, are the amazing guys at Design Coolie. Akash and Nitish, thank you! Not only do you know how to do your work amazingly, you showed what being a good human being and friend really means. Akash stayed up late, just to fix my ten thousand “final tweaks”, for days. Even though I’m pretty sure he can’t stand the word “alignment” anymore, he was as professional, kind and respectful as a person can be. The professionalism and willingness to listen to every wish I had concerning everything on the site was amazing. Having such excellent developers made the whole process much, much easier and this is exactly how a client should feel like after every finalized project.

I can’t emphasize enough how extremely happy I am with the effort they have put into my site and how much I respect what they both, did for my company. Thank you guys and keep up with the good work. I would also like to say thank you to friends and clients. They have helped out with edits and helpful advice throughout the whole process. One of them is R.S. Guthrie, a great writer, a huge dog lover and good friend. You can read more about him in one of the following blog posts, where writes and authors will be able to hear a lot about his publishing journey and ways he used to publish his excellent writing.

If there is someone out there, who would like to share their experience and thoughts concerning any book-related topic, feel free to contact me. I would love to invite you all to be guest bloggers on my site or to simply share your journey with us. Have a wonderful day, every day!
